Our Customer SimpalTEK LLC is a Texas-based company with excellence in creating personalized automation and control solutions for smart home devices They believe in making the connected world a simpler and more affordable place to live in using artificial intelligence and voice-controlled technology.

About the Project

Beyond Key helped SimpalTek, LLC by developing a mobile-based application called Nexx Home which works with Wi-Fi connectivity and BLE. It also responds to voice commands given to devices through integrated Alexa and Google Home speakers.

In their current state, the smart garage door opener device called Nexx Garage and smart plug known as Nexx Plug have been implemented to work with the Nexx Home application, which can be activated by voice as well as tapping on mobile. With the help of the application, the user can open, close, and monitor their garage door as well schedule a time to automatically open it. Voice and text notifications are also shared to update the user on the status of the smart home devices. The development team is still working on the advanced software to integrate a couple of other smart home gadgets as per customer needs.
