Beyond TechCon 365 Dallas 2025: Post-Event Insights

What a great week! Our team at Beyond Key just got back from TechCon 365 Dallas. We are still feeling the great energy from the event. It was held from November 3rd to 7th at the Irving Convention Center, which was full of smart people from the Microsoft community.

We were proud sponsors which gave us a wonderful chance to meet people. We talked with IT professionals, business leaders, and many tech fans. Everyone shared the same goal. They all want to find new ideas (that’s innovation) and get more value from Microsoft 365.

A Hub of Innovation and Ideas

Techcon 365 Dallas

The five-day plan for TechCon 365 was very strong. It started with long, deep workshops. These workshops focused only on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (all the tools that work together). The classes covered important tools. This included Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Azure OpenAI for Power Platform developers. We also learned real ways to build solutions using SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and other Power Platform tools.

The main speech on Wednesday was called “AI Roundup: Navigating the Frontier of Innovation”. This speech really set the feeling for the event. It made everyone talk. People discussed autonomous AI agents (AI that can work on its own). They spoke of intelligent automation. They also discussed integrating Copilot into the Microsoft 365 apps we use daily. After that, the classes got very practical. People learned how to build real agents using Copilot Studio. They looked at SharePoint-based agents inside Microsoft 365 Copilot. We all saw how Power Apps and Power Automate can pull those agents into our company’s work (our workflows).

The week continued with more deep topics from the Microsoft stack (the full set of tools). We saw detailed sessions on Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Fabric. We learned about new SharePoint development with SPFx. We also saw advanced Power Platform solutions. These solutions are built to connect data, work steps, and people.

But how do you use this in the real world? Attendees talked about real use cases. For example, information architecture for AI (how to set up your data so AI can use it well). They also discussed M365 governance patterns and, very importantly, strong Copilot governance strategies.

Copilot governance was a very big topic. (Governance just means ‘how to control and manage something safely’). Recent reports show that over 60% of IT leaders worry about AI governance. So, many talks were about one thing: how do you use Copilot safely? How do you roll it out in SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and other M365 workloads? All these classes showed one clear idea. Using AI inside Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and the Power Platform is no longer optional. It is becoming the main way to get more work done, keep it secure, and be smarter about it.

Our Home at Booth #209

Our CEO - Piyush Goel

You could find us at Booth #209. Our team worked hard to make our booth feel open. We wanted it to be a welcoming place for everyone who visited.

Our Theme: Beyond Microsoft 365, Copilot, Data & BI

This theme explains how we see the Microsoft ecosystem. We see it as a connected platform. It’s not just a box of separate tools. Think of it like a car’s engine, where all the parts must work together. We go beyond single tools to build complete, end-to-end solutions.

So, we did not just talk about features. We focused on live demos and real talks about business problems.

Many visitors came to us with specific problems. Their teams were not working well together (that’s fragmented collaboration). They had too many manual processes. Their information was stuck in different places (called siloed data). And many were not sure how to start using Copilot safely. We talked about these problems. We showed how to fix them using a mix of tools: Microsoft 365, modern intranets on SharePoint, Power Platform, Data & BI, and Copilot-based AI.

For example, to help teams work together, we looked at Microsoft 365-based intranet ideas. A good intranet helps bring people together. It organizes company information and makes it easy to find. For work problems (like process challenges), we showed how Power Apps and Power Automate can automate tasks. They can take over the manual, boring work. And then, these apps get even smarter when you add Copilot and Azure OpenAI. G

We also had great talks about Data & BI solutions. These tools, built on Microsoft tech, pull data into your M365 apps. This gives leaders the facts they need to make good decisions. Fast. It did not matter what we talked about. Intranets, business applications, analytics, or automation. Every talk ended at the same place. Microsoft 365, Copilot, and Data & BI are most powerful when they are connected. They must be designed together to get real business results.

Great Conversations and New Connections

The best part of any conference is the people. This year was no different. We were so impressed by the enthusiasm of everyone who stopped by our booth. The discussions were deep and had real meaning. We heard about the challenges companies face when they try to adopt new technology. We heard about their goals for automating work. We also heard their excitement about using AI like Copilot.

Our team was able to offer practical advice. We talked about how to integrate these tools to work more efficiently and drive real innovation. It felt less like a presentation. It felt more like a friendly chat with peers who share the same goals.

A Special Evening: Tech, Talk & Tonic

Beyond Tech Talk & TonicWe wanted to make the week even more special. So, we hosted a private dinner on Wednesday evening. We called it “Tech, Talk & Tonic.” We invited a select group of attendees. These were people deeply interested in digital transformation and AI. The evening was a perfect mix. Great food. Great company. And even better conversation. We talked about how AI is changing our jobs for the better. It is making us more productive and simplifying our work lives. Everyone shared their own stories and experiences. This created a warm, collaborative atmosphere. It was a memorable night. It reminded us how powerful it is to connect on a personal level.

Meet Our Team on the Ground

Two of our key team members were there to represent Beyond Key. They loved meeting every one of you. Their expertise (what they know) and friendly approach made our booth a must-visit spot.

Piyush’s vision for using Microsoft technologies to deliver real business value has guided our company from the start. Sachin’s deep knowledge of M365 and Power Platform helps turn that vision into secure, user-friendly solutions. Together, they were the perfect pair to share our story.

What We Learned and What’s Next

TechCon 365 Dallas was more than just a conference for us. It was a learning experience. The insights we gained and the connections we made will help us. They will help us continue to improve our solutions and better serve our clients. We left Dallas feeling inspired. We are now more committed than ever to helping organizations succeed on their digital journey.
